Lois is a bright and inquisitive little girl. She comes second youngest in a large family with 11 brothers and sisters, so to say she gets left out would be an understatement. Quiet and sensible Lois was quietly her dad’s favorite. She loves he daddy and looks forward to the little surprise gifts he brings her after his long work days between driving his dump truck and being volunteer Fire Chief for the little town. Lois had a simple life with few pleasures but surrounded with love in her small neighborhood. What Lois does not know is that life is full of unpleasant surprises just around the corner. She finds out a little more about herself and how precious some things are in life.

from his days as a student at the Art Academy of Cincinnati to his current career as a creator of children's books. The book also focuses on his early career with clients such as Fifth Third Bank, and The Perfect Brew.

FEATHERS - By T. Brown

Feathers is inspired by the oral tradition of the South American Folktale, 'How Birds Got Their Feathers.' The oral version describes the original birds of the Brasilian Rainforest being colorless until one day a crafty snake rambled about the forest floor eating all the tasty colorful flowers, which angered the birds. We hope by visually re-telling this story children will forever be inspired and the oral tradition will continue.

This story examines young Xavier’s life through the eyes of critical thinking. Little Xavi has always been a thinker, thinking about his actions, thinking about the situations he faces in everyday life, even thinking about his relationships. Xavier is faced with challenges, some prove to be tougher than others. What will he decide? How will he handle them? How will he handle his emotions? This book explores how critical thinking is only the start to Xavier having a more emotionally balanced life by using his powers of evaluation to navigate everyday situations that for a seven year old are pretty monumental in their minds.
